Three-dimensional embroidery on a pin. Chanhua (缠花) — “wrapped flowers” — is a centuries-old bridal craft from Fujian and the Hakka communities, where fine glossy silk is wound strand by strand around a slender frame until petals seem to lift from the surface.
Cream-and-amber petals open around a baroque freshwater pearl drop, set off by hand-dyed dusty-blue silk leaves and a secure stick-pin. Because every petal is wrapped by hand, no two flowers are quite alike — a soft, sculptural bloom that reads as quiet luxury.
Made in our studio and supervised by master embroiderer Joni Zhou—four-time gold medallist of China’s Hundred Flowers Craft Award.
