A pansy in silk — symbolising smoothness and health. Endorsed by the Royal School of Needlework, this complete beginner’s kit teaches Su silk shading — the art of “painting with a needle” — through a blue pansy design with amber and cream centres and three-tone green leaves.
You’ll master the long-and-short stitch on fine silk gauze, blending fine silks petal by petal. The double-sided technique means the finished piece is equally perfect on both faces — mount it in the included frame and display it either way.
Kit includes — Pre-printed silk gauze, full silk thread set, needles, unique display frame with wooden stand, RSN-approved booklet.
